Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you had yourself a nice week!
This week just FLEWWW right by!! I can’t wait to tell you all about it
On Wednesday night one of my good friends invited me to go to the Celtics game! Her dad has season box seats at the TD Banknorth Garden and let us use them for the evening! Before the game I had a delicious yogurt mess– Archer Farms Vanilla yogurt with banana slices and Kashi goodfriends cinna-raisin crunch cereal.

Here we are at the game– it was soooo much fun!!!

I’m not a huge sports person — AT ALL! In fact I think I can name 2 of the players on the team– but of all sports– I do enjoy watching basketball.

The box room we were in was AWESOME! It was two floors, had two full bars and not to mention LOTS of food! There was crackers, cheeses, nuts, make your own pizza, pastas, salads, rice, veggies and fish!
Here are some of my eats:
On the left, I had haddock with rice and purple cauliflower! Delish!!!! The other dish is a mix of caesar salad and a goat cheese/sundried tomato salad.

During half time, an entire DESSERT buffet was put out! I was too excited and simply forgot to take pictures but I loaded up! Some of my eats included a mini canoli, mini apple pie sundae and chocolate chip cookies! SOOO good!! We had a great night and the Celtics won which made it all the better!
On Thursday night dad and I ventured to our spot for some delish din. It was late and I wanted something light but still delish. I started out with a jumbo shrimp cocktail (per usual)… and asked the chef to prepare me a mixed veggie salad with grilled chicken for my entree. I topped this bad boy off with EVOO and balsamic. I also had bread, hummus spread and a bite of dad’s fig and gouda cheese flatbread
Other eats as of late have included LOTS of yogurt messes–
Fage, Kashi go lean, Kashi Puffs, bananas and raisins.

& FUJI (my fav!) apples!

Last night I worked until 11 pm and then met up with my girl Lauryn who was in town (she’s the one I met up with in NYC last week!) it was so great to be able to see her two weeks in a row!!!
This morning I made myself the perfect hangover cure…
MORE YOGURT!!!
Archer Farms Vanilla yogurt with raisins, banana slices and Kashi Honeysunshine– I don’t think I ever get sick of combining bananas and raisins– I do it with yogurt, oatmeal— everywhere!

I also had some frozen grapes
As for the rest of the day– I’m planning to meet up with Lauryn for lunch and probably do some shopping
Daily Insight–
At the Celtics game I got to thinking about people and their life’s passions. I couldn’t help but wonder how/when the Celtics players discovered their love and talent for basketball. I am really fascinated/slightly envious (in a good way) of those who have figured out their life’s passion because I have yet to figure mine out.
My question for you is– have you discovered your ‘passion’? How did you know it was ‘your thing’?
That’s all everyone– have a wonderful day

Good question!! I posted about that a couple of weeks ago, actually… I don’t think I’m sure what my “passion” is, and it really bothers me, because I feel like I SHOULD have found that by now. Ah, well. It’s not like I’m 100, right?
<3 <3
Looks like fun! You are so adorable!
I’m still trying to find my “passion.” It’s a work in progress.
Awesome game time and beautiful insight.
I have many passions… hard to choose!
just want to let you know- you are the one who got me OBSESSED w/ fage! that yogur tmess looks amaaazing and the pics from the game are so cute
i don’t think i’ve necessarily found my passion, i think i’m at the point right now wher ei am trying to find it…. i’ll figure it out!

oooo girl i love those yogurt messes! that bball game looks like so much fun. (and about the last comment on my post.. i could NEVER hate you for not liking the pumpkin spice clif bar! i couldnt even hate you even if you didnt like oatmeal! however, thats not possible obviously) i hope you had a great weekend!
my passion is: learning more about Jesus and serving my church..its so fufilling!
what a fun weekend you had! i think you’re wrong about not knowing your passions because one of them is obviously making delicious yogurt creations! hehe. one of my passions is journalism. i discovered it when i worked for my high school newspaper and later, working as newspaper intern.
it seems like you really enjoy your job though and enjoy people and event planning. working at a hotel would be very rewarding. you’re young though, passions will reveal themselves more later. i think the key is doing things that you love and trying to combine them into a career.
i’m off to find me an apple!
so fun that you got to go to the game! i think its so fun to be in that atmosphere. loooooove all of the yogurt messes. so good. your kashi cereal combos are making me drool! i’m a kashi-addict. i have yet to find my passion. we’re so young though! and i know it takes time. im enjoying the soul searching though – hope you are too
lots of love,
lexi
That spread at the game looks amazing! That must have made the game a million times better, even for someone such as yourself who isn’t a sports nut. I’m more into playing the game than spending lots of money to watch it, but I wouldn’t turn down a sweet experience like this just to see what it would be like.
As far as discovering your passion, that’s something that I’m still trying to figure out. I recently changed my major, which was a really big deal, but I still don’t know where to go from here. I know that there are a lot of things that I’m not really a fan of, but I have yet to start doing something that I could just be passionate about. Those giant guys eat, sweat, live, and breathe basketball. I have yet to figure out my equivalent, but I think that’s what life is all about. There’s no huge rush to figure life out completely!
Wow! I missed you! I have no idea you made a new blog.
It’s interesting you picked basketball players for the inspiration of your question.. I was just thinking about that the other day.

Athletes are the only people in the world who can scream and grunt with joy! The faces they make once they’ve made the winning score are incredible. What they feel is inimitable. I wish I could scream when I cooked something fantastic… but I’m afraid that would frighten many people. I know I’m rather young, but I have a deep, deep feeling that my life will be shaped around food.
Whatever you do, you will do amazingly!
Have a great week!
my dad is a DIE-HARD Celtics fan. I’m pretty sure he still wishes he was Larry Bird.. he would be so jealous if I told him about you and your VIP treatment!
I love that question (almost as much as I love you.. te he he) I think my passion in life is English (lame, eh?) there is just something that I love so much about writing and reading and analyzing different pieces of literature. It’s therapeutic for me.
Hope you had a wonderful Sunday, precious!
i have definatly found my passion for makeup. i think i still have other passions laying within me.. waiting to be discovred. life is about adventure, living, exploring, finding what you love.. you may not find it in a day. it takes time
Fujis are my favorite apple too!! YUMM
I think I’ve definitely found my passion–sports medicine (exercise science) and nutrition. It just FASCINATES me and I can totally see myself majoring in exercise sports science
Great box seats–now THAT’S the way to enjoy a basketball game. Gotta love free food
Great yog messes!!

i don’t believe in one passion per person, i really think that you can wear many hats-professionally, recreationally, in so many different ways. and even though i’m super-happily married now, i kinda find “the one” a little limiting too…we live in a vast universe…there is so much and so many for all of us…
on a totally unrelated note, i just wondered if you ever get an upset stomach from kashi products?
love your new blog
xoxo
What a great way to watch a game!
I used to work in such a box for soccer games…
My passion? Dancing! I can almost start doing it again (decided to stop about a year ago, only wanna start if I reach and maintain my healthy weight some time) and I can’t wait!
But cooking and writing are two other passions:)

Your box seats look *awesome*. I know what you mean about finding your passion…. When I find mine, I hope I am as successful with it as the Celtics players are with theirs!!!!
I found my passion a couple of years ago when I did a work placement at a local newspaper,
I’m now hooked on journalism…I live and breathe it pretty much, and I’m working towards qualifying and working!
I found my passion for cheerleading when my friend forced me to go to their practice, lol.
I found my passion for blogging when i discovered so many wonderful people. (Can I hear an ”Awwwww she’s so cute?” lol)
Frozen grapes! I remember it was you who turned me into frozen fruits, lol. So good!
I think I should call you ”Yogurt Mess” Queen, from now on

Vanilla
im still waiting for that spark of passion for something. I used to feel that passion for kickboxing until i ruined it for myself with DE no longer feeling strong enough =(but I just know how passionate I am about my family, i truly feel blessed and couldn’t be any more thankful
thanks jaime! your amazing girl
I LOVE sports! that looks like such a blast!!!
Hmmm…My passion….. I’m passionate about singing and being the best wife and friend God has called me to be. Some peoples passions make them a huge success and well know but some peoples passions and triumphs are amazing and only known within their family and friends. whether it be a huge actor or someone known as the most selfless person in your town who’s passion is people.
I guess it’s all how you look at it. So in a very long answer. I want to be the best person God has called me to be right now and have fun with doing the things I love. I’m just passionate about life!!!
I have discovered my passion…it’s food science and I know that it’s not an easy thing to do, so I don’t take it for granted and I pursue it to the fullest!
LOVE the eats girl!
i’ll take you elephant riding in thailand and you take me to a real celtics game when i come to the states! deal?? looks amazing!
happy thanksgiving love
